Room 101
Room 101 - Just off the
living room and providing a front
street view of our quaint town is this stately room with a four-poster
queen
size mahogany rice bed and Victorian antiques. An antique highboy drop
front secretary adorns one corner and a marble top
washstand is deal for your drinks and ice. A modern bath houses the
tub/shower.

Room 102
Room 102 – This lovely white
French provincial furnished room also opens into the living room. The
two queen size beds were hand make especially for this room. The chairs
are original to the hotel cc1940. This small modern bath has a
tub/shower.

Room 104
Room 104 - Featured in the
“Southern Living” magazine May 1999, pg. 6 GA is The
Moncrief Room. Named by the owner in memory of her Dad, Paul
Moncrief, this room is filled with charming family décor, taking
you to a simple country life when Lena and David Moncrief reared their
children in Crawford County, Georgia. This room is filled with family
heirlooms focusing on a uniquely designed 100year old iron bed that the
owner has modified into a queen size bed. A quilt made by the owners
Mother, Sara, decorated one of the walls. Step into the past when you
enter this bath with a 6ft. claw footed bathtub. For your convenience,
we have added a wrap around shower. We also supply bubble bath.

Room 107
Room 107 - This masculine room is
decorated in oak antiques. The full size oak bed is hand
made. The chairs are original 1940 hotel chairs that have been
upholstered to match the window and bed treatments. This bath has a
large shower.

Room 108-109
Room 108 & 109 – This
two-room suite certainly gives you
more room and privacy because you have your own living room. The
living
room houses the TV in a 1940 cabinet. A queen size hide-away sofa
provides
an additional bed if you need it. Window treatments and a chair
are from
the same fabric. Enter the 1907 bath from the living or
bedroom. The
bath has a 1907 claw footed tub; we added a wrap-around shower for your
convenience. We also supply the bubble bath. The bedroom
has a
mahogany four-poster queen size rice bed and East Lake antiques.
This
suite is decorated around the Roosevelt family. You can enter the
living
room or the bedroom from the hallway.

Room 110
Room 110 – If a cc 1800 brass
bed and miscellaneous antiques is what you are looking for – you
will love this room. We make the most of an antique pine ironing board;
we used it for a table. The miscellaneous antiques add verity and charm
to this room. This bath has a tub/shower. The garden area can be viewed
from this room.

Room 111
Room 111 – English oak
furniture from Eleanor Roosevelt Val-Kill Shop Furniture in New York
provides two full size beds and other bedroom furniture. An oak
oval drop leaf table is also used (from the owners’ original
collection). This bath was originally at the end of a short hall.
We walled in the hall to provide a foray and a private tub/shower bath.
This room has a view overlooking the garden area, side street of the
town, parking area, and garden.

Room 112
Room 112 – A wonderful view
of the front and side streets of
our historic town are available from this room. Again we have used the
Eleanor
Roosevelt furniture, providing two full size beds. This room opens into
the
mezzanine living room. A tub/shower bath is available.

Room 3
Room 3 - This
large room is ideal for the larger family or group. Originally two
small rooms, we have converted the two rooms into one large room with
two tub/shower baths. The full bed and two twin beds along with the
other antique oak furniture is from the Eleanor Roosevelt Val-Kill Shop
Furniture in New York. This room has a private entry/exit onto the
patio overlooking the garden area.

Room 5
Room 5 – Even though this is
the smallest room in the hotel, it has convenient features. This room
has a private entry/exit to the outside and opens onto the patio
overlooking the garden area. The full size bed, chairs and mirror are
from the Eleanor Roosevelt Val-Kill Shop Furniture in New York. Other
antiques also furnish this room. There is a tub/shower bath and it has
been said that the newspaper men (The Press) used this bath room to
develop pictures made of FDR funeral precession.

Room 6A
Room 6A – This first floor
room has a four poster 1930’s walnut bed which we converted to
queen size. Other antique furnishings such as a round bedside table,
desk chair, and drop front secretary are also walnut. The bath provides
a tub/shower. Entry/exit to this room is from the hallway. For
your convenience, guest may enter/exit the building through a private
guest door. Each guest has a key.
